Biography
Dr. Robert Guerrera currently offers outpatient psychiatric services in Norwalk, CT. He is also employed as the Medical Director for Connecticut Renaissance. Dr. Guerrera was the Service Chief of the Dual Disorder Unit at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT. He received his medical degree from the Universita’ degli Studi di Bologna, Facolta’ di Medicina e Chirurgia in Bologna, Italy and completed his residency training in psychiatry at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC where he served as the chief resident of the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic.
Dr. Guerrera is a Board certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of dual disorders, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders (including PTSD, panic disorder, OCD, and social anxiety), schizophrenia, eating disorders and substance use disorders.
